Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved dogs. They just get me—always knowing how to cheer me up on a bad day. For the longest time, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. But as I learned more about how much schooling it would take and realized the limited opportunities where I live compared to the States, I started to think it wasn’t possible. Slowly, I gave up on that dream.
Then, one year, a man opened a business in my town that involved working with pets, and I was flabbergasted! Seeing his success reignited my passion and made me start dreaming again. This time, I believed I could find a job doing something I loved.
The first year, I couldn’t apply because I was too young. The next year, I worked up the courage to ask him for a job, but he told me he wasn’t hiring. I felt so disappointed. It seemed like my dream was slipping away again. I looked for other work and tried to move on, but a year later, everything changed—I got the job!
Now, I’ve been working there for almost a year, and I couldn’t be happier. Every day, I learn something new and grow more confident in my skills. Working with dogs feels like a calling, and it’s inspired me to dream even bigger. One day, I hope to start my own business and do things a little differently, putting my own spin on the grooming experience.
I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next! if you have a dream don’t give up! There’s a chance for every single one of you! If you need courage or Inspiration I’m here to help!
